Many buyers assume they should wait until they are completely ready before speaking with a real estate agent. In reality, some of the biggest regrets I hear come from buyers who waited too long to begin planning.
As a top St. Louis real estate agent, I always tell clients that starting the conversation early does not mean you need to buy immediately.
In fact, early planning often creates better outcomes.
Buyers in the St. Louis real estate market benefit from understanding:

- Down payment expectations
- Inventory patterns
- Neighborhood comparisons
The earlier buyers begin learning about the process, the more confident they typically feel when it’s time to move forward.
